LSC-Cyfair Career Day


This event is an opportunity for students to learn about how it is like to work in different career fields. Speakers from prominent positions in these fields have been brought in to give students an insight into their experiences. Brochures and refreshments will be available for attendees.

Vanessa Smith

Vanessa Smith is the founder and active executive chairman of Smith Dental. After many years of practicing as a dental hygienist, Smith eventually graduated from the  University of Houston School of Dentistry. Eventually, Smith went on to create   Smith Dental, a dental support organization that offers non-clinical, administrative services to supported dentists and team members. Today, Smith Dental is one of the largest dental support organization in the nation. Smith has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and is a past recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
